Promenade Area Residents Association
The mission of PARA is to improve the safety and vitality of Downtown Long Beach for residents, businesses and visitors and supplement the services provided by local government agencies.
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 neighborhood association based in Downtown Long Beach, California which has three guiding principles:
- Communication: To build a community by making this a neighborhood that we want to live, know our neighbors and feel like a part of a community.
- Contribution: To make an impact into making this a better neighborhood that is safe, clean and an enjoyable place to live.
- Representation: to Improve the neighborhood through advocacy to the city, local businesses and bordering neighborhoods.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors are made up of residents within the PARA boundaries. They are Pacific Blvd to Long Beach Blvd. and Ocean Blvd. to 3rd Street. Join us for our monthly Board Meetings, the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm inside the 133 Rec Room located at 133 The Promenade N.
