Kristin Dunn, Treasurer
Kristin Dunn Bookbinding & Design
Kristin is a bookbinder and boxmaker and owner of Kristin Dunn bookbinding & design.
She first became interested in bookbinding during a summer internship at Women’s Studio Workshop in upstate New York. At the time she was a printmaking student at Wesleyan University and applied for the internship with the intention of concentrating on making prints but within the first few days was drawn to bookbinding. After college she was able to land a job as a bookbinder with a small company in San Francisco. She also began teaching small group and private lessons.
In 2005 she settled into her studio in Long Beach where Kristin Dunn bookbinding & design was born. She spends most of her time working with designers, photographers, business folks and individuals customizing portfolios, presentation folders, albums, boxes and more. When she’s not doing that she tinkers around in the studio experimenting with new materials and searching for new applications for the materials that she works with everyday. One result of this tinkering is an Etsy shop that she started in 2009 called Jeeta where she custom makes and sells embossed leather keychains.
When not working she enjoys cooking, working out and spending time with her family.
Peter has resided on The Promenade since 2008 and is a founding member of the Promenade Area Residents Association and the Downtown Residential Council. He has a day gig in public education and loves life in Downtown Long Beach.
Geoff has lived in Downtown Long Beach since 2009. It’s where he and his wife, Marcia, have made their first home and have raised their two daughters. Geoff is a web designer and developer but better known as a coffee junkie and neat freak by those who know him best. He’s also a walking reference of 90’s music trivia.
